Photograrpher Peter Funch takes pictures of a Manhattan street corner over the course of weeks. He then carefully stitches them together to create a single photograph, outside of time. posted by Afroblanco (10 comments total)

Wow! It's interesting to pick out the common theme in all of them. Some of them are obvious, others are a bit more subtle.

No doubt! It took me a while to notice that everyone in the first photo was wearing black -- just because New Yorkers tend to wear a lot of black, anyway.

Skillful photo-editing to say the least. Really fantastic attention to detail to say something more. I also like the transition of images, starting as subtle groupings and transitioning into more obvious sets. Thanks!

There are so many forms of genius these days...
