A city outside of time

Photograrpher Peter Funch takes pictures of a Manhattan street corner over the course of weeks. He then carefully stitches them together to create a single photograph, outside of time.

Wow! It's interesting to pick out the common theme in all of them. Some of them are obvious, others are a bit more subtle.

No doubt! It took me a while to notice that everyone in the first photo was wearing black -- just because New Yorkers tend to wear a lot of black, anyway.

Skillful photo-editing to say the least. Really fantastic attention to detail to say something more. I also like the transition of images, starting as subtle groupings and transitioning into more obvious sets. Thanks!
