The Tarantino Mixtape from Eclectic Method is not the first mashup to cross the audio/video copyright streams, but they are pretty good at it.

Almost forgot this bit of legalese:
Eclectic Method’s second official full-length video mixtape, Lock Up Your Videos, is now available. Like Radiohead’s In Rainbows and Girl Talk’s Feed The Animals, LUYV is now available as a “pay what you want” digital download, making this the first official downloadable release from Eclectic Method.

The tarantino mix is a little busy until about 2 mins in, where it becomes pretty sublime.

I really liked the mix video, but I can't watch anything by Tarantino without this little voice in the back of my head going, "There's something wrong with that man."

That is brilliant. Wow. What a lot of work.

It's like a handy bingo card for Tarantino's oft-used motifs and visuals! Feet! Girl dancing to music! Copious Drug Use! Wheee!

Utterly fabulous. Brings a new subtlety (?) to video mashups.

And Scattercat: agreed. but isn't that why we keep watching?

hypersloth: you may have just introduced me to a New Favorite Thing.

Lock Up Your Videos is "da bomb"!

Thank you for this. Much appreciated. Just to shows that the Old Folks just never can tell...

I dunno. Tarantino flicks make me want a shower afterwards. I can barely sit through 'em. (And generally don't, if I have the choice.)

Kind of a derail, though. This video was exceedingly well-made, regardless of the unpleasant feeling I get seeing that weaselly little face grinning with sadistic glee...
