Today I Die New click/drag somewhat puzzle-y game from Ludomancy/Daniel Benmergui. [Ludomancy previously]

Reportedly inspired by, Will Wright's response to the GDC '05 GDC: The Emily Dickinson License

I've found 2 endings, anyone found more?

woah. That was awesome.

Mine must be broken. All I can do is switch "worlds" and explode jellyfish.

That was amazing. Thanks for posting it.

It's not broken, DU. You've just gotta play around with it until things start to change.

I actually spent several minutes playing around, then got a hint from JIG's walkthrough. Then another hint. Maybe it seems more magical if you figure it out yourself.

Ok, that was awesome ... wow .... and I usually not one for those kind of games.

Oh, I felt I should clarify, it was impressive from a the conceptual/artistic perspective, it's more interactive art than a game.

I love his stuff. Thanks.

And last post on this from me ... but this note on the side of the game was interesting as well:

By Daniel Benmergui
This game is ad-free thanks to an unusual individual.

The only ending I get is "serr jbeyq shyy bs funqrf gbqnl V fjvz" and I can't see getting another one based on how the game is set up. Any hints juv3nal?

The end is "serr jbeyq shyy bs ornhgl gbqnl V fjvz hagvy lbh pbzr". Or at least that's the ending I got.

And that "reportedly" link in the post goes to some blog reposting something from The Guardian's RSS feed. It also happens to render broken on Chrome Beta. Correct, original source link.

it's more interactive art than a game.

I was thinking about this as I was "playing" it. When do these things stop being a game and start to be something else.

You can also get "serr jbeyq shyy bs ornhgl gbqnl V fjvz orggre nybar" if you don't, um, do something there at the end.

Then again, as we all should know, people still enjoy interactive text-based games.

That was nice. A bit frustrating at points, but still really nice. I'll try to remember that the next time I feel tempted to think there aren't any arty games done well.

Once figured out, very nice. I'm a bit slow today, so a walkthrough helped.

RockSteady's is the one I missed...is it a proper ending or is it what you get if you don't do anything at the penultimate step?

Also, update: not inspired by the Will Wright/Emily Dickinson thing.

Cute little puzzle game. I was trying to drag each one of the floating pain-cats off the heroine fast enough, one by one, then fly her around avoiding them 'free' solidified. That was hard! And it didn't work! So much for bullet dodging skills.
