I just remember an eerily fake starry sky and some guy playing the guitar.] A Cleveland local TV station played it at midnight or one AM or something every night the summer I was about eight and staying at my grandma's house, where I had a TV in the bedroom. It totally freaked me out and made me sad. I watched it every night. I would dread it, then watch it, then watch it the following night all over again. It was like the video in The Ring, for real.)

Darth Fedor, it may interest you to know that some of those images require crossed eyes, as if looking at a near object, whereas most (like this one) require parallel eyes, as if you are looking in the distance. If you use the wrong technique the image is inverted.

I want to take the Keyboard Cat, and the Dramatic Chipmunk (Prairie Dog) and a couple of other moment enhancing videos and have them stored on my phone. That way, whenever the need for it arises, I can whip it out and without a spoken word clarify the moment for everyone around me.

Guy in meeting: "So anyway, in an effort to manage on our company's diversity goals, this week I was working with the Mexic.. uh Spani.. er Hispanic... yeah Hispanic elements of the workforce..."

and quietly in the back you will hear a tiny keyboard playing as I hold my phone up at the person letting him know to just walk away. Then when he gets mad, and storms off I can switch over to the Dun Dun Dun... Chipmunk (Prairie Dog).
posted by quin at 12:29 PM on May 6, 2009 [5 favorites]

Navelgazer, I don't know - my theory, from watching the slow-mo replay, was that there are some shenanigans going on and some of the grapes move just as he reaches for them. This startles him and he hits himself in the nose with his mike but it doesn't quite work. Now the idea that he's getting electrocuted kind of dampens the comedic effect for me, alas.
