Impressive stuff, especially "The Synesthetic City." But is anyone else on the blue reaching the age where super-bright-color-flashy-TokiopopLOLZsneakzkultur alienates and frightens them? It's like that time I went to a Dan Deacon show and was rushed to the hospital for an overdosing on Gameboy Color.

Anyway, who are these kids to have candy-colored hope for love and the future? Just wait 'til they get outta college. Then we'll see who's falling in love with pretty girls and fighting primary colored octopi with wonderhands. Yes, then we'll see!

I'm sorry, this was just lame. I wanted to like it because of the Phantom Tollbooth reference and egregious use of the Wes Anderson movie font, but it in the end was just lame.

Wow, The Synesthetic City is fantastic - Mario Paint meets Cremaster Cycle. Wish the Phantom Tollbooth one was better, I love that book.
