Old Spock talks to new Spock

Did the conversation between the new Spock and old Spock seem a little short given the circumstances? Apparently, they talked more and someone overheard much of the conversation. (Spoiler Alert)

This post was deleted for the following reason: This does seem like pretty much an automatic spoiler just for spoiler's sake on a pretty recently-released film. If the link is good enough, there's gotta be a better way to do this. -- cortex

Ha! I liked the part where the Spocks talked to each other.

Not the best of the web; frankly, not even the best of People Who Didn't Like The New Star Trek Movie For Whatever Reason.

That is a wildly ineffective spoiler alert.

Ha- I wasn't sure how to link without spoiling although it seems at this point everyone on MeFi has seen the film.

Ha! The line about the actress who played Spock's mom was so true. I didn't recognize her at all.

Old Man Spock: "By the way, if you want to gain advantage over your father, accuse him of being a pervert who illogically prefers women of a different species."

Oh no! Alderaan, I mean Vulcan, has been destroyed!

Yes, the writers of "Star Trek" evidently did rip off, I mean watch, Star Wars.

Wow, the girlfriend and I burst out into laughter when she first appeared on the screen. Almost as bad as Jennifer Morrison being Kirk's mom.

New Spock is definitely not a douche, he's awesome. And why yes, I do have a crush on Zachary Quinto, why do you ask?

Ugh. This was about as good as the new movie.

Actually, it's kind of fitting, really. The new Star Trek movie is Star Trek for generation dumb, and this conversation fits that shape precisely.

This post fucking sucks.

What the hell? Not everyone has seen the movie yet. Jesus. I realize it's just a stupid action movie but is it necessary to spoil a movie right on the front page? Assuming this is a spoiler, which would have no way of finding out without spoiling it even more.

WTF is wrong with people. Ugh.

New Spock is definitely a douche. I hope he shapes up.

Shouldn't the spoiler alert come before spoilers and not after them?

Old Spock WAS A GHOST THE WHOLE TIME!
Old Spock IS A DUDE!
Old Spock IS NEW SPOCK'S FATHER!
Old Spock IS KAISER SOSE!

Am I doing this right?

WTF is wrong with people. Ugh.

Is that even a spoiler? Of course old Spock and new Spock are going to talk to each other. It's a fucking hollywood blockbuster movie!

Can we have the argument about well crafted plots and tales being immune to spoilers again?
