Funny how a comment about "pomo drivel" is neither an aspersion on the text in question (as it is intended, however seriously) or a reflection of the person commentating, but a deeper reflection of the dilemma of our times.

But I enjoyed this - sent it to a friend who teaches a course in autobiography.

I have been misunderstood; I never said the text was "pomo drivel," simply that I expected someone to say it, and no one has. I am preparing a serious critique of the text which I hope to post tomorrow or Tuesday.

I enjoyed this very much. I think the ideas presented here will become more and more relevant to us individually, and as a whole as technology gets smaller and more invasive, and we extend our lives by becoming more and more "artificial."
