Bush warns Europe of "new" threats

Answer: When CNN starts putting your rhetoric in quotation marks.

Bush urged governments to "think differently in order to keep the peace."

What, they should all buy iMacs? Is Steve Jobs the sinister shadowy hand secretly running the U.S. government?

Perhaps as the media gets more disenchanted with Bush, they'll start writing the articles like this. (Generated via The Brunching Shuttlecock's Sarcasterizer.)

"At the press conference, Bush said: "I shared with President Aznar my administrations desire to work with our European partners, to build a Europe that is whole, free, peaceful and linked in solidarity with the United States."
While true that they're quoting rhetoric, did you notice no comment on Bush's referral to Prime Minister Aznar's presidency? Nor to the Times' notice of Bush referring to him as "Anzar"...

Here's the weird thing about this. As you can all tell, I'm no Bush fan. But I also have this defense mechanism about Europe where I sort of feel like: "Hands off buddy! He's a moron, but he's our moron!"

In Spain, the head of government (called a prime minister in most parliamentary systems) is known as the President.
The link is to the constitution. (Shockingly, the Spanish refused to write it in English.)
