We Are All Mice Within the Lesser Vastness of the Not-Kaleidoscope. (SLYT) Structure elevates random into beautiful; individual impasse, in multiplicity, resolves into vibrant design; mirrors are weird; enter, The Duck.

Sounds like Larytta listened to a lot of Jean-Michel Jarre growing up.

My theory about the clustering in the middle behavior is as follows: mice follow walls and hang out in corners, if any of the animals ends up in the middle, it looks like a group of animals circled around something. A group of animals circled around something would usually mean a large food source, so all the animals want to check out the center and see what kind of delicious dinner is to be found.

While it seems kind of obvious why it works, it is a cool systematic artistic exploitation of animal behaviors.

When it was just the mice I liked it, but as more and more birds were added the mice were clearly not having a very good time, all piled up on top of each other in the corner.

"No animals were harmed during the making of this video. Oh, except for a whole bunch of mice who were clearly terrified and were being stepped on by ducks"

Ah, how far we have come. In the 60s scientists gave cats LSD, put them in a box where the only sound is a narrator going on about Thomas Pynchon, the role of government in hallucinogens and a liberal dose of The Residents cover of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida.

Loved this! I didn't notice the disclaimer quoted above--if I had I wouldn't have worried so much that one of the chickens was going to try to eat a mouse.

@lpheonix: The disclaimer above was just a slice of sarcasm by me, no such disclaimer was attached to the video.
