If all dog shows were held in grimy back alleys with adorable toy breeds, I'd actually care to watch it on TV or even show up in person. If the president is really so pro-puppy, he should show it by outlawing dog shows so that we can get this kind of scene going. I'd like to think all the sugary, girly cocktails were invented during prohibition, and I won't look it up, as finding out that it's not true would ruin my point.

Actually...

The popularity of cocktails at that time was at least partly due to the need to cover up the bad taste of some of the crudely produced hooch smuggled by the bootleggers.

With pugs, it's not so much the cute factor (they look slightly grotesque, imo). It's the constant stream of physical comedy. They are clowns. Small, furry clowns.

Not realistic at all! Not once did I see a pug hop on its front legs, execute a 360 degree spin, and finish with some in-your-face vicious tail wiggling.
