not quite sure why, but i've always loved meredith monk's music. (her films, a little less wholeheartedly.)

Youtube never ceases to be depressing. Here I am listening to a beautiful piece of music, and my eyes wander down to the comments. "I think this gave me a hard one". Seriously, dude, you either got a boner or you didn't, and it's "hard on" not "hard one", and it is really sad that you cannot hear a breathy voice without thinking it means sex (other comments seemed to be implying that the piece was somehow obscene?). Wonderful post, I had the soundtrack to this film, so it is great to see the film that went with it.
