I remember that Max Headroom episode.
The best Onion News Network episode was the one about the Supreme Court and capital punishment. The bit with the transcript where every justice says "I am the law" is making me giggle right now.

My favorite part (of that book) may be the cynical names that a political-consulting firm assigns to the various demographic categories of the electorate, including:
