Fatima Bhutto explains what the US is doing wrong in Pakistan

A thought provoking interview on the state of Pakistan in Guernica.

Fatima Bhutto is the granddaughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and niece of the recently assasinated Benazir Bhutto. She is sharply critical of US policy in Pakistan and describes the death of her father in a way that would shame Machiavelli. Some say that she and George Clooney are an item.

Fatima Bhutto has had articles published by the Daily Beast and also The Guardian. I enjoy Fatima's writing and find her insight informative. It is an interesting perspective from an eloquent educated Pakistani woman of privileged background who has great insight into the machinations of the politics of her country. I hope she continues to stay out of Politics and continues writing critically from this position. Apart from her writing she has done much work for women and the underprivileged.
Here is a further article about her wtittn last year by William Dalrymple.

She has given a couple of telephone interviews to Chuck Mertz that are worth a listen

The interview was very inspiring. For Fatima to speak so frankly about the corruption within the government & her own family while living in the childhood home where her father was assassinated by his own sister, that is true courage. Thank you for the post!
