Charges dropped against Ruby Ridge FBI sniperBONNER'S FERRY, Idaho (CNN) -- The FBI sharpshooter who killed a white separatist's wife in the 1992 Ruby Ridge standoff will not be tried for manslaughter, an Idaho prosecutor said Thursday.

Actually I think this is what Tim McVeigh felt like when a similar series of flawed decisions on the part of a certain Attorney General and other alleged civil servants executed a bunch of Waco whackos. I mean sure they were whacko but they were American whackos, y'know? But then again Timmy's response was a bit... extreme in nature. Most of us just keep our nose clean and try to stay out of the line of fire, and we tell ourselves that's freedom. Vicki married a white separatist. I guess that's an example of not staying out of the line of fire? Death by proxy? *heavy sigh*
