Frank Gehry is most famous today for large buildings with unusual unusual shapes. But years ago he made furniture out of laminated cardboard.

Some of these are really great. Some of them are obviously the result of a frantic desire to differentiate oneself, and would be unstable, impractical, and uncomfortable.
