The Ozone Nightmare is a podcast which ascends and degenerates with such regularity that listening is like riding the sine wave of thought itself.

Can you give us more to go on? For example, since you think some of it sucks, which parts are the good ones? Is there a theme?

There's something to be said for text transcripts.

Ascends and degenerates to where from what? See, this is the problem with posting when high. You have a sentence which, no doubt, in your mind is so singularly enigmatic that no one in their right mind could resist clicking the link but to every one else, it's just noise. Throw us a fucking bone, at least. What the hell is it about and why should I click on it?

Sorry all. Had a bit of an emergency which resulted in a flurry of clicks that may have sent this out to the front page a bit unfinished.

The podcast effectively meshes the qualities of a roundtable discussion and stream of consciousness prose. The hosts decide on a loose topic or theme and proceed to discuss it, but it can sometimes be quite a while before the actual topic is addressed. This is due to the freeform nature of the show and the tendencies of the host to indulge in tangential thinking.

The ups and downs referred to in the title are due manly to the afformentioned tangential thinking and the personal friendship of the two hosts. This friendship creates an environment where the hosts are able to move from formal and intellectual musings to crude humor with some great ease.

All in all, the podcast is worthwhile because each episode offers a unique and organic conversation.

Again, apologies for the initial lack of depth in the description.

I must take a moment to thank doctor_negative for the primer on the dangers of posting high (through description) and the dangers of posting while bitterly drunk (through demonstration).

Hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I do.

Ok, but that doesn't explain how thought is a sine wave.

My sine wave degenerates on a regular basis, too.
