As a child of the early years of MTV, I spent the 90s growing more and more weary of MTV's slide into stupidity. In the last 5 or so years, I have completely stopped even slowing down the channel changing enough to see what's on MTV. I had come to the conclusion that every single person who works at MTV is an idiot, and that they have absolutely no ability to filter out really useless garbage from their programming.
