This guy isn't Pryo, he's Lex Luthor. He's conducting an experiment that will end with all his hair falling out (or worse) and he'll blame the guy who saved him for his disfigurement.

I would like to posit that anyone who's experienced a self-induced third-degree flash burn would probably have second thoughts about doing this. I like how when I was watching the videos I kept thinking, "Surely he has a good reason to do this... Surely there is some sort of work or chore this would help with," and then I watched the last link and, nope, it's just to be like a comic book character.
