Is there a hunger in your sinister soul? Let Wilkinson's Family Restaurant feed your need. Oh sorry, they're out of business now. Rather, are you in the market for tools of depravity? Then Donald & Sons Hardware can supply your dark needs. Intrigued by the creative process behind these advertisements? Step inside the studio to see the magic behind the first and second video advert from Witchitel Music and LynchLand.

Liam Lynch, is the guy behind MTV's Sifl and Olly Show, plenty of music (including United States of Whatever), and recently a series of video podcasts. These adverts are clipped from his 17th podcast (direct link to the m4v file).

I couldn't stop laughing at the hardware store advert. The eye movements at the very end of the video are the perfect touch.

Well, that certainly is the same joke twice.

But really, rhyming "rake out their eyes" with "nine ninety-nine"? Fits the faux-amateur aesthetic, I suppose.

For clarification: Dan Deacon does not do acid, nor does he want any, thank you (contrary to certain rumors).
