Quidgy kids might be a bit annoying to those of us who dine out for a nice evening, but this is a bit much.
Sure your server might chose to rant, but at least he or she isn't doing it to your face.
Frankly I'm of the opinion that I'm doing them the favor of patronizing their restaurant, rather than they doing me the favor of serving me. Call me old fashioned.

Personally, I don't think I'm doing anyone a favor by eating in their restaurant. I think I'm paying a professional to do a job. As long as I treat them like a professional, and they act like a professional, everyone is happy.
