Three words: totally free crap.

As my sister so aptly put it;
All free
All crap

This post was deleted for the following reason: Honestly, if you are not aware that this looks like the kind of low-rent crap-shill site that we ban people for linking to in self-interest, you need to become aware of that. Benefit of the doubt and all, but this is a terrible link. Your sister may not be the best personal I-Ching going as far as what should and shouldn't be a (self-aware, semi-ironic, it's funny because it sucks?) metafilter post. from cortex and -- jessamyn

Mexican hot chocolate* is not crap. It's heavenly. Unfortunately, it's no longer available.

*I'm sorry, Mexico. I don't know the proper term for your hot chocolate.

Like free t-shirts. I have never once in my life been at my house getting dressed and thought, boy, you know what I need? Another ill-fitting, cheaply made T-shirt for some team, group or company I don't care about. AND YET, whenever they start tossing 'em out to the crowd at a concert, or a baseball game, my arms start waving and I start screaming ME ME ME ME GIVE ME FREE STUFF I NEED THAT FREE THING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Some free advice: This isn't a good first FPP.

Totally free crap, incidentally, is the governing principle behind all of my contributions to Metafilter. I wonder if I can sue that website for ripping me off.

It isn't "totally free crap," it's "data-mine yourself in exchange for something you wouldn't actually be willing to pay money for."

I deeply resent your insinuation that I've been datamining the good folks at Metafilter who took the time to read my comments, and I demand an apology.

That free pet hairbrush looks exactly like the one my cats loved beyond all things in the universe except food, that finally broke a couple of weeks ago. Too bad for them I don't feel like getting even more spam. Sorry, Henry and Potato. Learn to type.

Actually, I have. I gave away most of my crappy T-shirts before returning to this country, and when I got here I didn't have that much left to go to the gym in. It was weird, for the very first time in my life I wished I had more gimme shirts.
