I enjoyed the way the animators were constantly visible at work. I am an admirer of the kind of brechtian usage of cinematic effects, where the effect does not need to fool you in order to be beautiful. posted by idiopath at 3:13 PM on September 24 [1 favorite has favorites]
If you've never seen it (I know it was an FPP at some point) check out "Muto." it's the first video on the channel linked above. I also like his short pen and ink animations; although they aren't the showstoppers that the wall animations are, they're still wonderful little sketches. posted by louche mustachio at 3:37 PM on September 24
