Trooper Clerks "Just because they serve you, doesn't mean they like you."

And yes. I did do a MeFi search before posting it. Closest things I found were Elian and the Stormtrooper, George Lucas in Love, the faux Episode 2 Trailer from The Force dot Net Theater and Build your own Boba Fett. Maybe I wasn't searching with the right words? I'm assuming this Trooper Clerks thing has been around for awhile but no one linked to it before now and it's pretty funny shit. Be sure to check out both the trailer and the Flash Animated One-Shot which is actually in color.

For some reason I've been on a Star Wars kick recently and I'm subjecting you to it. If you go to the official website, you'll find a link to more fan films but I wasn't impressed by most of them. One called Star Geeks was mildly ambitious, and stands out. I also found an online Star Wars Blooper Guide which completely failed to mention that Mark Hamill actually cries out "Carrie!" when he climbs out of the X-Wing fighter after successfully blowing up the Death Star. I guess they felt that blooper was too obvious.

Can you find any other cool Star Wars related weirdness out there?

That blooper guide probably didn't mention the "Carrie!" blooper because that "urban blooper legend" has been proven to be false.

Is this like when you listen to the end of Strawberry Fields Forever John actually says something silly like "Cranberry Sauce" but everybody thought he said "I buried Paul" ? Cuz I watched ST4 again just this morning after coming back from getting drunk in Deep Ellum and I coulda swore he said "Carrie."

Well he does say "Biggs" when he's supposed to say "Wedge." That's not an urban legend. It's just not as... remarkable.

I only recommend this link if you know for certain that it will not spoil it for you. The following link is a script treatment based on reports and relatively dependable rumors and speculation from numerous sources. The most recent update was less than two weeks ago. It reads about as close as one can get to whatever the real thing's gonna be, without actually reading George Lucas' mind. I read it, and I think it's gonna help me enjoy E2 even more when it comes out. What's the new movie gonna be called next year? No one knows, but I'm betting on The Balance of the Force.

Did you all see this? It was on Memepool not too long ago, but I'm still totally impressed.

OK, I can accept that professional sound editors disagree. But I have a copy of the edition and it sounds an awful lot like "Carrie!"

At least this debunking uses actual research instead of "it's not on my copy so it doesn't exist" which is what all prior debunkings I've seen resort to.

Don't forget Star Wars in ASCII-mation...

Has anyone ever seen an online document that tries to figure out what R2-D2 says? I can't find anything on that, but I think it'd be funny.

That ascii thing was weird. Thanks for sharing it. And I saw Duality just yesterday. There's also a spoof on it called "Twoness" which is at atomfilms.com somewhere.
