Slashdot hassome good discussion about purchasing domain names. As always, there's a lot of crap in the discussion, but a few informative posts.

Slashdot also did one on web hosts a while back.

To weed out most of the general crap, you might want to set the threshold to 1 or 2.

Yeah, I browse with a threshold at 2; however, moderation doesn't always work quite like it should, and you'll still get people who don't know what they're talking about with a score of 2 or higher.
