The Undertaker"s sketch is an example of dark humor.

Along with Tweety's groin, it was censored. Many find it unpalatable as it deals bluntly with dark realities like racism, suiside, starvation and of course, the Easter Bunny. Many enjoy their inner Vader, laughing at the ebony suit. What's your pleasure, sir?

And now Graham Chapman himself is dead. Coincidence?

I first heard the Undertaker Sketch on a MP record first. I wasn't until several years later that I saw the sketch on the show. The recording is far funnier.

Wikipedia has some more background.

(I agree that the one on the record, without the audience interaction, is superior.)

Especially since they also ate Graham Chapman.

Some of the darkest humour I know is by Chris Morris:
Living Outside
Suicide with an Escape Clause
