Living just up the road from Zac Efron's family, I am not surprised at his future, and I'm definitely looking forward to the Western White House being set up in Avila Beach. And I'm relieved to hear that Metafilter will not be part of the web mergers/convergence that will result in... what exactly did he say? Twitonmyface?
I think I'm going to unfollow Stephen Fry now. posted by oneswellfoop at 4:21 PM on November 18, 2009
Twit on my Face, and tell me that you love me. posted by leotrotsky at 4:24 PM on November 18, 2009 [4 favorites]
Aside from his changing the pronunciation from "Free" to "Fry" midway through, that was amazing. Shame about moon and spoon though, there goes 86% of my livejournal poetry out the damn window. posted by Navelgazer at 4:25 PM on November 18, 2009 [1 favorite]
also, I originally misspelled it "jivejournal," and think I might have to purchase the domain name now. posted by Navelgazer at 4:26 PM on November 18, 2009
I will say he was an excellent Lord Melchett. posted by dunkadunc at 4:27 PM on November 18, 2009

I've often received messages from the future. Damn spammers like to set the time stamp years in advance so that their garbage appears at the top of your inbox. posted by exogenous at 5:52 PM on November 18, 2009
My second favorite Stephen Fry/Twitter story is him getting pissy and some random guy. My favorite is when he got stuck on the elevator. Link isn't a self-link, but it's close (we mutually promote each other's site with an ad exchange).
Anyway, looks like @brumplum has nixed his account. Not sure if it was over the Fry dust-up. Now I have to hunt down his blog to find out. posted by cjorgensen at 7:04 PM on November 18, 2009
I hope everyone following Stephen Fry on Twitter is also following his wife, and mother of his six kids, Mrs. Stephen Fry. She obviously wears the pants in that family. posted by BitterOldPunk at 7:05 PM on November 18, 2009
