Some of the pics are very cool. I particularly like the ones in China.

Wow, thread-shit straight out of the starting gate. How original.

Love this image and this one.

And yes, tilt-shift is the photographic equivalent of auto-tune.

i came for the dog-pile on tilt-shift abuse, but it's 4 comments in and i'm already late.

To be fair, it's only a small minority of the photographs that are tilt-shift.

Well, this guy isn't doing his stuff in PhotoShop (or is he? :-), and didn't exactly start doing this because it's the latest trend on the interweb -- his career is a bit longer than that.

"Wow, tilt-shift. How original.'

well a lot of those tilt shift shots date back to 1995, so yeah, they probably were pretty original back then.

I don't care if the mechanics of achieving these pieces are readily available. These images are beautiful. Many of them made me think again about the way I normally perceive clusters of buildings or business spaces. Thanks Vronsky.

Recognizing and photographing patterns in the modern world around us: he's a poor man's Andreas Gursky.

Gursky does it better.

To each his own I guess Gross Wart. I personally didn't find any of these very engaging.

More on Frank.

I don't like tilt-shifts in general. Some of the other shots are kind of nice. I was going to make another "Oh look it's a guy with a camera" comment, but then I figured, why be so crude? If anyone put up a post about my photography, I'm sure it would get the same kind of snark, but as we are being smothered with ubiquitous photography these days, most of it drivel, any attempt to retain a modicum of artfulness should be at least noted, if not applauded.

great flickr sets Poagao :)

Interesting and Stall are my faves so far.

(It's a shame that Flickr remains so hard to navigate. It really only works as a slideshow.)

Thanks, Vronsky. I've been wonderingly lately about other venues besides Flickr, as well as if I should put images I would like to publish elsewhere up there as well.
