WTF, Comcast

"It's the year 2078. We're on Sirius 6B, a planet that has been decimated by nuclear war. Oh, and did we mention the Screamers - a blade wielding, self-replicating race of killing devices? Yeah. Watch out for the Screamers." WTF Comcast is a tumblelog that attempts to chronicle Comcast's often-hilarious video-on-demand movie synopses.

It's the year 2009. As the decade comes to a close a band of merry posters congregate to celebrated the Best of the Web. Oh, and did we mention the Moderators? A Ban Hammer-wielding triumvirate of evil, just waiting to smite those who have itchy post button fingers or who don't pay attention at all. Yeah. Watch out for THE MODERATORS.

In my defense, I didn't really think someone was going to post it in the 2 minutes it took me to write the post.

In comcast's defence, all the ones on the first page of the blog were like "the plague, with james van der beek, star of dawsons creek"... and in cases of questionable ORIGINAL movie descriptions like this, is possible that the summaries are just copied from the back of the (straight-to-)dvd case... sounds like the more interesting thing here is that Comcast broadcasts some grade a carp. (and devotes as much of their corporate dollar to CHOOSING good things to feed us, as they do to writing horrible descriptions, none.)
-wait, This movie was called mary shelley's frankenstien... now i am mad; no more pretending to be defending u gaiz for me.
Maybe they need to borrow some $ from their "how can we make more money by giving less" policy department, and sending it to the describing movies department.
