I think he's got the chops. Although I thought it was going to go a bit more like this.

I kept waiting for the little guy to say, "my cat's breath smells like cat food."

Loved his performances in L.I.E. and 25th Hour (as Montgomery Brogan's recovering alcoholic father - note that he takes a quick swig from Monty's bottle of Harp. LET'S GO YANKEES!!)

I was expecting something out of Extras, not the cutest child in Scotland. Well-done.

Kids are cute, even when performing that soliloquy. But maybe not if they do it in Klingon.

Awww.

That sweater makes him look like a roll of Lifesavers after a crash diet, though.

"Bright little guy."

"Sigh. He's one of the worst students we have."

I used to have hair like Theo. As time takes its toll, I can only hope to have hair like Brian.
Outrageous fortune, indeed.

That was very sweet, thanks!

Just delightful. Brian Cox is, and probably forever will be, Captain John O'Hagen from Super Troopers ("Drunk enough to kick your a$$!"), but, yeah, I know he's an accomplished actor.

This video makes him out to be a really sweet guy, too.

In my mind, that is.

I have that same refrigerator! It's the Conserv 375, a very nice low-power fridge designed for solar homes, which takes up only 2' square on the floor. Also, the condensers are in the sides, so there's no coil on the back and you can put it flush to the wall, and it makes no noise at all, lovely. And, the freezer's on the bottom, where you want it really. Brushed aluminum front, doesn't take fingerprints.

What, did I miss the point of this?

There's a story of the making of that movie, in the scene when all of the troopers are getting shitfaced after learning that the budget has cut them out, and all of the Broken Lizard clan are just losing their shit at every moment, and Brian Cox turns away from them all dejectedly and simply asks, "whatever happened to craft?"

I think of that every time I see Cox, and love him for it.
