I liked that more than I thought I would. That was fucking rad.

The folks behind this have a bunch of short videos, apparently featuring a lot of screaming.

I saw this earlier, and it made me think of the track I Cannot A Ford, which isn't wholly sampled from a car, but the samples are a prominent part. Then there are 7 Bicycle Bands, as compiled by Mental Floss, and Project Bicycle, in which 12 songs are built from one bicycle.

It's all fun and games until someone shocks the shit out of himself playing with jumper cables.

But really, that was at least seventeen kinds of cool.

Man, it must be fun to have friends who are game to follow through on your crazy but achievable ideas. While I may know people who could come up with this idea, they'd be hard pressed to find anyone with the time and initiative to actually pull it off. Well done.

(And really, even if my happy fantasy of a merry band of amateur percussionists is precisely that, and everyone associated with this project was recruited and paid, it's still well done, and looks like it was fun.)

Its easy to follow through on ideas when you are being paid and directed by a marketing firm.

Perhaps inspired by this Nissan ad?

From the youtube comments:

if a bunch of kids were bangin on a jeep for nine hours just to the "perfect" take for some stupid internet video I would go down there AND FIGHT THEM

Or Einstürzende Neubauten, even.

The abuse aspect just makes it even cooler. But I think it was probably out of warranty, so that's ok.

I won't deny that's pretty cool, but I'm pretty off-put by a video that outright tells me to vote five stars on it.

Really wonderful. Reminded me a lot of the "Cvalda" factory number in Dancer in the Dark.

The Potate: But really, that was at least seventeen kinds of cool.

Oh, come on. Twelve, tops.

All kidding aside, very entertaining. I almost didn't watch it, but my girlfriend reading over my shoulder read the title out loud, so I had to click. Glad I did.

(This is a problem I have with YouTube posts that don't clearly outline their content. I'm oddly reluctant to click on unknown links unless I known I can scan the content quickly.)

Was it worth wading through the garbage to find that gem? It's sad that even the clever comments on YouTube are shining examples of the horror that can be done to the English language by an apathetic person in a hurry.

There is a non-zero chance that I will be playing this in my New Years Eve mix...

It was like the second one from the top at the time.

It's like a modern version of Frank Zappa playing the bicycle.
