Also bits of the Death Star might fall on your head.

Two inches of snow from the weekend, lingering only in the shadows on the north sides of things, is like Hoth? Whatever.

That's not what I was expecting. I was expecting:

HOTH: Cold
TATOOINE: Hot
ENDOR: Manmade Holocaust

Well, considering that Endor is what pops up when you type in Los Angeles, I don't think you were far off.

It's like Hoth here in Boston, alright. Time to turn my cat into a tauntaun.

It's always Hoth for me. I guess that's what I get for living in Minnesota.

At first I was told it was like Alderaan (the 404 page); but it turns out northern Norway is Hoth. No surprise; the scenes from Hoth were actually filmed in southern Norway.

Saw this a few days ago linked on Twitter. Had fun with it for about 10 minutes. The funniest thing was accidentally stumbling onto the Alderaan page via a typo.

That was a nice two minutes.

It may currently be an Endor-like 18 °C in Palm Springs, CA, but I suspect the relative humidity needed to grow those big redwood-like trees needs to be a smidge higher than Palm Spring's current 19%.

I am not a botanist, let alone your botanist.

Vegas is like Endor? Hmmm...

(On a related note, I was never clear as to whether the moon's name was Endor, or the planet's name was Endor. "Forest moon of Endor" implies that Endor is the planet, and the action in the movie takes place on its forest moon -- otherwise they would say, "Forest moon Endor." I just learned today that both the planet AND its moon are named Endor. Interesting.)

Interesting. No, wait. The other thing: tedious.
