11-year-old files $1M suit against McDonald's for maggot-infested cheeseburger.This is in the same league as the woman who got a fried chicken head in her McNuggets a while ago.

My own personal opinion here, but this is far, far more revolting than the finding a chickenhead in your nuggets.

Sorry, posted hastily. McDonald's, while indeed nasty, has such a PROCESS to their whole food delivery and preperation system. I just don't see how writhing maggots could survive this.

They really lost me on the 'crawling around' part.

Yeah, it reads bogey; but I like this line: "As evidence, his mother saved the rest of the cheeseburger and the boy's vomit." What did she save the vomit in? Tupperware? Shades of M. Lewinsky's mother.

And I don't care how lackadaisical the youth of today are, maggots snap, crackle, and popping on the fryer would raise an alarm or two.

Something tells me there's alot more than hamburgers being infested with maggots in that household.

The lawsuit fails to mention that the boy bought the cheeseburger two weeks ago, left it in his locker, stuck it in his backpack for a day or two, and then began consuming it.

$1M to McDonalds is nothing, though. I can't see this going to court. They'll probably float him several hundred thousand, or maybe even the million, and settle.

yeah, but not all 'youth of today' care what they themselves put in a burger.
