I guess I might feel differently if I were Jewish,Ya think?
but the people objecting to this strike me as exceptionally thin-skinned.Yes. Why can't those over-privileged, money-grubbing, materialistic Jew-bitches take a joke?

Oh, and also, why don't they talk about the male version of these people at all? The male "coastie," if anything, is far more obnoxious, but I guess it's easier to identify the females because of their distinctive... ideas about clothing.Yeah, no. I don't think that's it. I think that ethnic and class insults can be more effective when they're sweetened with misogyny.
Of course, and my point is exactly that I don't think this song is saying that. I think this song is saying, "I hate these women, who are surgically attached to their fancy purses and Starbucks cups and their oh-so-superior east coast, Jewish identity."Golly. So how exactly do these horrible Jewish women express their "oh-so-superior east coast, Jewish identity"?
