So, these are not the "most favorited" videos, but somehow the favorites of the Vimeo staff or are Blake Whitman's personal favorites?

Either way, fun compendium. I'll have to dig through this more later.

Personally, nothing punched my ovaries harder in '09 than Capucine. (Granted, many of the videos doing the most serious punching were actually from '08, but I did not discover them till '09.) If there is a separate list for videos that make you realize you want to spawn a tiny baby Amelie, she totally makes top three.

1000 words was great, Let the Beat Build was spectacular, Parachute Ending by Birdy Nam Nam was pretty good, and the Tarantino Mixtape is made of win.
