Ladies and gentlemen, Greenscreen Grandmas (SLYT)

I'll be the first to admit that there is not much to this post, but this is certainly the most joy-inducing video I've witnessed in months.

I recommend muting the sound if you're in an area where other people can't see your screen.

Truly best of the web.

"OOOOOooooooOOOOOOHHH!"

"Oh, shut up."

Classic.

Fran's subtle, nuanced portrayal of a distressed senior won me over. The "coaster as downward slide to senility" metaphor has been done to death, but she's brought new life to the idea, infusing her performance with layered insight. Thumbs up.

Glasses-granny seems more fun.

I love how the one keeps lifting up the bar and acting surprised when they go over the hill on the coaster AND THERE IS NO BAR! It's like she's going to fall out of her plastic seat when she lets go of the PVC pipe / lap restraint.

Oh boy, joie de (virtual) vivre! Who cares if they were once younger?

You people are all significantly younger than these women, right?

I need to grab this audio and set it as a ringtone on every phone I can get my hands on.

Imagine; at the bank, in a meeting, at a formal gathering.....

"Ooooohhhhhhhoooooooooohhhhh. here we go oooooooooo. We're going down Fran oooooOooOoOOooo.

Shut up."

and you'd have a few seconds before they knew it was THEIR phone that was going off.

It's the little things that make life fun.

And at the end, death. Only death and the void and turkey noises.

I'm sure we can convert this to animated GIF format with no significant loss of fidelity.
