The Catcher in the Rye was the first book that blew my mind and opened me up to reading. And they just don't make authors with such integrity anymore.

JD Salinger had no impact on my life at all. I read "Catcher..." when I was 16 but by then I'd already read "Basketball Diaries" and saw how sarcastic and high-minded Salinger was. I never gave him a second look. Still, rest in peace. Will he buried in a walled cemetery?
