Two guys are watching the 11:00 news in a bar. The breathless newscaster recounts the story of a woman who was threatening to throw herself from a parking garage downtown. Before they reveal the outcome, they cut to a commercial.

One guy says to the other, "Fifty bucks says she jumps."

"You're on!"

So the commercial ends and the newscast resumes, and sure enough, she jumps.

As the first guy is pocketing his $50, he shifts around and looks guilty. "Hey, look.... I can't take your money. I saw this on the 5:00 news."

"Yeah, me too. I never thought she'd be stupid enough to do it twice!"
