I'm not sure what just happened but I achieved a SUSHI FRENZY! so I guess, yay?

Nice. Kind of reminiscent of an Orisinal game, but not quite as precious.

This reminds me of a game from The Price Is Right! But it is about a cat so it is better.

Its awesome. All thr fun and challenge of of Plinko from The Price Is Right...

...
in other words, cute, but designed to excite the portion of middle america that thinks that this is cutting edge...

also... I didn't win a boat, a trailer and a truck to tow it with after I completed the game.

I get all nervous when one of the moving elements squeezes the cat up against a wall. It makes me think the cat is going to pop. Then I remember that I'm an adult.

This game is totally pointless and makes no sense. Maybe after I finish level 5 though ... almost done... you missed one!

I love the Orsinal stuff. They're not so much games as mouse based meditations.

Or to kill a few minutes and let you look at a jiggly kitty.

are these the same people who love the "blink" tag or a big "under construction" animated gif?

On level 13, my very first cat bounced around long enough to become full. Now he's too fat to get to the baskets at the bottom; he's just bouncing the middle, getting squished between the floating wheel and the flower pots. Poor fat cat.

Fun little game. Great blob physics. My cat got stuck between a wheel and the wall on level 14, though. For about 8 minutes. It eventually worked its way loose, thankfully.

Ahhh! I'm stuck on level 5. My little gelatinous kitty keeps bouncing off the turnstiles to the sides. Is there any strategy to this?

This is great!

Jesus Christ, I am so hungry after playing that. I'm going to get some lunch.
posted by brundlefly at 1:57 PM on March 4, 2010

so much fun! I love when the fat cat gets caught between two things and just sort of... squishes up and down.

What I took away from the game is that problems in life can be solved through eating copious amounts of sushi. Just as I've always suspected.

Also, the length of the game was perfect; a good diversion, but it doesn't eat up your entire afternoon. Plus, it was hilarious.

My cat got caught on level 14, too, but eventually, somehow, he does bounce free if you're patient. Happy super fat cat!

It's Peggle with a cat. That's the ideal of time-wasting flash games.

Let's face it, there are no casual gaming experiences out there that could not be made better by the addition of a cat.
posted by Artw at 3:36 PM on March 4, 2010

I played this a few weeks ago and on the last level, I got really lucky and got almost all the sushi on the first shot, but then my cat was so fat that it took him ten minutes to get to the bottom. I was about ready to just leave it overnight when he finally squeezed through.
posted by Stylus Happenstance at 4:06 PM on March 4, 2010

Actually, it was on the 13th level, exactly like amarynth said, but even though it looked impossible, he eventually got under the flower pots.
posted by Stylus Happenstance at 4:09 PM on March 4, 2010

Sigh. I just had dinner. Now I want sushi. And a cat.

You want this one!
posted by Artw at 4:18 PM on March 4, 2010 [1 favorite]

I was going to go running. I've already beat this game!!! And here I am playing it all the way through again. Wanting sushi. All I have is mac and cheese. Why are you doing this to me.

Yep. I'm pretty sure that if cats knew Flash, this is the kind of game they'd write.

Yeah. Sneering about middle America on Metafilter is way more cutting-edge.

Like amarynth and Stylus Happenstance, my cat got fat. And stuck for long enough for me to complain to my boyfriend, get on skype and screen share it with him, then download and learn to use a screen recorder to get this.

You should play the version that involves catching some beans and putting them onto a plate.

People who poop on this game need a fat cat on their face. This game was adorable.

I don't know why but I find the phrase "Final cat" funny.
