What's a year of health in the U.S. worth? Though slightly dated, this study from 2002 showed that U.S. citizens spent more than $5,260 per capita for their health care. Even better, its shocking illustrations paint a grisly picture of health care in the U.S. The study shows that Americans pay a 53% premium over any other country in the OECD list. That trend continues to this day, and it is a major catalytic factor in the reform movement championed by the Obama administration. via
