It was twenty years ago today...

With all props to wearers of the green, also note it was twenty years ago today bassist Rick Grech found his way home.

Though best known as a member of Blind Faith, he also was a member of Traffic, formed KGB with Mike Bloomfield, and sat in with the Stones on occasion. A rememberance of the man and his music.

Thanks for this tribute post timstell. I'm playing the first link out loud, while the first sunbeams of this spring are blasting through house. The combination is wonderful.

Thanks, timsteil. Before Blind Faith? There was the Leicester-based Family and their July 1968 album Music in a Doll's House. Sold well in the UK. Here's a live version of one of the tracks: Me My Friend
