I like that he wiped his hand on Bill.

I've watched/listened to this guy over and over... for years... how did we elect this guy to the position of President, TWICE????!!!!

I seriously don't think that's what he was doing. And I'm far from the guy's biggest fan. Reading too deeply into meaningless offhand gestures only helps cheapen one's legitimate complaints about him (c.f.: Obama giving Hillary "the finger")

No one can resist that Clinton mojo.

This guy used to be the most powerful man in the world. For eight fucking years.

That's what I thought until I watched it about ten times... what the heck else was going on here???

One reason people think he was deliberately wiping his hand is because of the claims that he would use hand sanitizers after shaking hands in the White House.

Can you blame the guy? Last time someone stole his watch!

I also am going to come down on the side of that's not what's going on. Either time.

What was he doing, then?

Maybe his hands were just sweaty or dirty that time he was walking behind Angela Merkel. . . .

Worse than that: they both were.

That hand sanitizer article is crap as well. I can lay a lot of crap at Bush's door, but the label of racist isn't going to be one of them.

I'm with contessa on this one. Though I do love the photo of Obama with his finger up. It was my desktop picture for a month.

Looks like Bush has dirt on Clinton.

Last I heard, he was installed as president by court decree the first time.

As far as I'm aware using hand sanitizer after shaking hands is a common practice among politicians and has been for a long time.

Heck if I know. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to touch your travelling companion's arm.

I think the better question here is, has he thought up a whimsical-verging-on-offensive nickname for Bill Clinton yet? That's kind of his "thing."

George W. Bush is kind of a dick.

Who knew?

When I saw this on the news my first thought was, damn that's just wrong.

Now having watched it several times and even in slow motion on several news programs I think. Slow news day, eh? And that's just wrong.

He might have just been trying to get Bill's attention so he could say "Hey. I'll be in the car, with the AC cranked, watchin' Judge Judy."
