1. "why is this person's mouth area about 3 shades lighter than the rest of their face?"

3. "he looks real damned angry about whatever this santong kabayo business is"

4. "holy fuck what the hell was that noise?"

5. "why the hell is he throwing this weird horse whinny into the mix? does this song normally feature a horse whinny sample?"

6. "ah! there it is again. WHY GOD WHY"

7. "I must spread this on twitter and make everyone else suffer the same fate as I just did"

Are we sure that the horse noise isn't just part of the backing track? It sounds exactly the same every time. I think he's just making exaggerated facial expressions.

1) Yeah, the first horse sound I SWEAR was part of the track, but then the subsequent ones seemed legit - so I dunno.

2) I've always loved how Philippines seems to blend English within what their native language is or whatever. Anyone have more info on that aspect?

Work to Live, they seemed stunned, like they were just overcome by a force of nature ... the guy judge seemed particularly unenthusiastic - but like he didn't have any other choice but to give the devil his due.

symbioid, I was curious about the blend of English - wondered if it is used as the lingua franca... This article about language in the Philippines says English is predominant language, but that English in the Philippines often contains "an admixture of indigenous language elements."

According to the only person I know from the Philippines, it is very common to intersperse English phrases and/or sentences into Tagalog dialog. I have noticed this a lot watching movies and television. too. The weird thing is, as far as I have been able to tell, it isn't like it is some particular idea that maybe couldn't be expressed in Tagalog. It would just be some random (to me) ordinary sentence. And it was usually a sentence (or phrase, which does make more sense) not just a word.
