I remember when I first read that the car in the movie was a replica feeling ripped-off in a sense. Then I found the place that built them and decided at some point I would have to buy one (only $67,000!).

Then I learned it uses a modified MGB chassis, and decided $67,000 could probably be better-spent.

Of course, if you want a real one it'll cost considerably more.
