The Human Centipede made me snicker. The Cat With Hands made me check to make sure the doors were locked. posted by Alvy Ampersand at 8:01 AM on April 9, 2010 [2 favorites]

Well-done, but quite frankly the most horrifying thing about it is the old guy's teeth. posted by Halloween Jack at 8:17 AM on April 9, 2010
So, is this screened often at the furry conventions? posted by yeloson at 8:53 AM on April 9, 2010
OK, I can live with the suspense of not knowing what happens in the rest of this. I believe the technical term is "chickening out"? I am such a wuss. posted by theredpen at 8:57 AM on April 9, 2010 [2 favorites]
This was totally creepy! I keep looking over my shoulder. Thanks. posted by garnetgirl at 9:55 AM on April 9, 2010
Crap. I'm alone, it's getting dark, and two cats are staring at me.
sort of saw it coming, but friggin' creepy nonetheless. Thanks for posting this since I didn't catch it the first time around. posted by xbonesgt at 10:32 AM on April 9, 2010
Last night as I slumbered I had a strange dream,
One that seemed to bring distant friends near,
I dreamt of the faces of people I know,
And I woke with a heart full of cheer. posted by pracowity at 10:38 AM on April 9, 2010
Odd we haven't heard from a mod about it being a double. What's the matter? Cat got your tongue? posted by Sparx at 12:59 PM on April 9, 2010 [1 favorite]
Cat got your tongue?
Ha. The original location of the movie seems to be down now—maybe they thought we all needed our pants scared off anew? (I went back and watched it. I'm not too afraid of my cats, but I have been giving my husband the side-eye every time he makes a sudden noise.) posted by theredpen at 2:17 PM on April 9, 2010

I originally saw this at Telluride. Guillermo del Toro brought it to show in front of "The Devil's Backbone". Between the two, I did not sleep well that night.
Cats just should not have hands. There is a very good reason for this, and now we know what it is. posted by OolooKitty at 5:47 PM on April 9, 2010
