Great to see Ivan finally getting posted here!
I highly recommend getting the You Are Here CD done with Rae Spoon. The show was later done with a different musical arrangement, but all versions I've seen are fabulous.

I am prejudiced since he's a friend, but Ivan is truly a gifted storyteller.

Yeah, I've read a couple of books by Ivan Coyote. Increadibly readable stuff. I'm surprised she's not been given a radio show.

I'd heard a lot about Ivan, but had never heard him tell a story. That's magic right there. Now to hope he comes to Montreal soon so I can fangirl him!

I believe Ivan goes by "she." I may be wrong about that.

We had him for Exposure, a prarie queer fest that I was the first programming director, at the bar night before, he was one of the most geneours, kind and sweet performer i have meet--for a gender non conforming queer man who works thru masculinity and the prarire west, he is a guiding force.

he earns the name coyote.

Thank-you for posting these videos!

I've loved "to all the beautiful fierce femmes" since I heard it around a year ago, and get a little choked up listening to it. It makes me feel noticed and appreciated like nothing else I've ever heard. I'm getting choked up thinking about it. Ivan Coyote is the very awesomest.

Fabulous! Seconding the radio show - he or she could easily replace half a dozen CBC presenters from Toronto. In my book.
