I'm not sure that I get it. Males marketed to teen girls are often a bit feminine because they're non-threatening. Some lesbians have a slightly masculine presence. That ridiculous haircut is popular with young people right now.
The site seems to suggest that a collusion between stylish, butch-ish lesbians and the teenage guy who's currently on the checkout magazine covers is notable. I'm willing to bet that it's just the opposite.

It's really awkward when you're a slightly myopic teenage girl and you think you're crushing on a teenage boy, but it's actually an adult lesbian.
