Famous artist has passed away at age of 92. Most known for his work with the Tarzan/Conan books. But if you have read any Science Fiction or Fantasy at all, you likely will have run across his intriguing work where the cover illustration was likely better than the book within.

Jesus Christ... if there ever was an argument for a 24 wait period when someone dies this (the 3 posts right in a row) is certainly it.

Frazetta can't be dead! It's not possible... He would bite off Death's face or something....

Putting this post up is like a Frazetta painting - if you're going to to it, do it hardcore.

Well dang.
I was intrigued enough in the 80's to buy all his cook collections. They are weird, wonderful, sexist, sexy, and tortured. A hardcore individualist with a warped and wonderful mind.

It's times like this that I am tempted to post another obit thread....just for the amusing sake of having one more.
Alas, however, that my better judgment prevents me from senselessly adding to the pile-up. Something about crapping on the front step, and all.
