Pigeon: Impossible is the tale of Walter, a rookie secret agent faced with a problem seldom covered in basic training: what to do when a curious pigeon gets trapped inside your multi-million dollar, government-issued nuclear briefcase.

That was great. There are a few continuity problems but overall it's a nice piece of work.

Pretty faithful rendition of DC. Presumably on 16th street?

I almost missed this completely, but in a moment of boredom I clicked the link, and I do not regret it. Awesome.

Because of my slow internet connection the picture got stuck for a bit when he was first crossing the street. So I was able to investigate the amazing detail in the background animation. Just stop it at 24 seconds and stare at it a while (and notice the car driving toward you without a driver).

5years to develop indeed. Now that they've put all this work into this nicely detailed computer model of the street, they should use it like a Hollywood backdrop and develop some more adventures.

Killing the pigeon at the end was weak.

The pigeon isn't dead. It's a resourceful pigeon. I bet it either flew up and out of the way or shot down a drain and out of the way. Right now, the pigeon is pecking Walter's eyes out. Then it will nest in Walter's hair and be Master to Walter's Blaster. This is how thing typically work in the animal kingdom.

the podcast is amazingly detailed. i find it hard to believe that the music was done for $5000, though. can you really get original music composed, arranged, and recorded by an orchestra for that little?

I saw this at a Spike and Mike new animation festival earlier this year. It was very impressive.

How long before this gets made into an actual film?

Kind of reminds me of Cordell Barker - The Cat Came Back [1988].
