Grey goo death in block form. Millennia from now the aliens who find the remnants of our planet are going to have some bad ass toy sets to bring home to their kids. posted by cmfletcher at 2:05 PM on May 28, 2010
This is fantastic! Of course, it's very complicated and would take a long time to make another of these. Perhaps if there was some sort of factory-assembling machine... that could make copies of itself.

I am absolutely not worried about this possibility. Among the many things my brother and I made from Lego when we were kids were some rubber band-powered cannons that could blow apart any possible assembly of Lego bricks. We have the technology to defeat them! posted by FishBike at 3:17 PM on May 28, 2010 [2 favorites]
