I like the Korg emulator better.
Also just released last week is Rebirth, by Propellerheads Software. I like the idea of having a TB-303, an 808 and a 909 that's portable... posted by daq at 1:05 PM on June 4, 2010 [4 favorites]
I would think the iPad accordion would be impossible to play without looking at it, because you'd get no tactile feedback at all, particularly on the button side. I've never played one, though, so I'm guessing. posted by immlass at 1:10 PM on June 4, 2010

It's really not a simulated accordion so much as it is a simulated self-powered reed organ. I mean they don't even have to pretend to work the bellows. posted by anazgnos at 1:21 PM on June 4, 2010 [1 favorite]
I was just thinking, it would be cool if you had to wave it around in order to maintain a virtual air reservoir. posted by carter at 1:25 PM on June 4, 2010
That's pretty impressive. I tried one at the store the other day and I couldn't even type a full sentence on the keyboard without making a few mistakes. posted by chococat at 1:27 PM on June 4, 2010
I thought iPad use 451 was to hold your books as ebooks so you can burn the paper copies. posted by GuyZero at 1:36 PM on June 4, 2010 [3 favorites]
Also, seems like it would be hard without the tactile feedback of where the keys are but I don't play accordion so I dunno. posted by GuyZero at 1:36 PM on June 4, 2010
I played the piano on an iPad at the Apple store, and yeah, it's pretty humbling to play a keyboard without tactile feedback. But what a great tool for learning the chord buttons! posted by malocchio at 2:14 PM on June 4, 2010
Mama's got an iPad
She wears on her lap
And when Daddy comes home
He never gets to nap
'Cause she's playing with apps
On a product for saps

Unnecessary. The world has enough accordions.
The definition of "enough" here is "zero", right? That way any positive number of accordions is too many. posted by spitefulcrow at 4:54 PM on June 4, 2010
